Degussa Engineered Carbons, LP, a 50/50 joint venture, offers our customers benchmark products ranging from standard ASTM-designations to highly specialized pigment blacks. We also offer superior service, support and value. The joint venture between two carbon black companies with a total of five manufacturing plants and over a century in carbon black production enables Degussa Engineered Carbons to better meet the needs of our customers in all areas, including product development and technical solutions.

With our NAFTA manufacturing facilities and our line of imported pigment blacks from Degussa AG, Degussa Engineered Carbons is also the only carbon black company able to provide a full line of products from the four predominant production processes; Furnace, Gas, Lamp, and Thermal. Carbon blacks with after treatment from the Furnace and Gas processes are also available.

Degussa Engineered Carbons markets products to NAFTA under the brand names Corax®, Printex®, NIPex®, Arosperse®, Sable®, Panther®, and HI-BLACK®. These carbon blacks have consistently provided superior performance in the most demanding tire and mechanical rubber good applications, in critical formulations for inks and coatings and in a variety of specialty plastics applications.
